When I moved to Port Jervis in 2019, I was delighted by the trails, the river, the downtown area, and the easy access to the train. What I did not like was the apparent cheese desert I had moved into! Since 2023, I have sought to introduce *good* cheese to Port Jervis through offering workshops, tasting and pairing events, and curating retail offerings.

The cheeses I work with are drawn from the local area as well as (much) further afield, and I'm continually seeking to expand my knowledge. I am a Cheese State Scholar (Wisconsin) and an Associate of the Academy of Cheese (UK), have taken several courses and embarked on cheese research trips, and I am always looking to try and learn about new cheeses!
